GUILIN/Arrival
Day 1 Upon arrival, met and transfer to your hotel. Go on a short city tour of Guilin if time permits. Hike the 326 steps up to the top of Fubo Hill for a bird-eye view of the city. Tour the Reed Flute cave to explore the weird-shaped, beautifully lit-up stalactites and stalagmites.

Day 2 Li River cruise. Sitting comfortably on the cruise boat, you will feast you eyes on a succession of beautiful scenes of nature, which look like so many canvasses of landscape painting. Afternoon can be enjoyed by exploring the shopping streets, biking through the picturesque mountain valleys, or drinking carelessly in the bars along the Western Street.

Day 3 Drive about 4.5 hours to Huangyao Ancient town. Formed at the beginning of the Song dynasty, Huangyao Town has a history spanning over 1000 years. The commerce first appeared in the Song dynasty and flourished at the end of the Qing dynasty. The old slate streets run through the town with various ancient buildings lining both sides. These structures, mainly form the Ming and Qing dynasties, are famous for their magnificence, refinement and practicality. Today, at three day interval, there is a bazaar in the town. Thousands of people, with their own products, go to the fair. Noisy and busy, trade becomes the theme of the day. Drive to Hezhou afterwards.

Day 4 To Guposhan Forest Park by coach. Approved to be a national forest park in May 1995¡ê?Guposhan Forest Park is about 26 km away from Hezhou city. Having abundant forestry resources, it is an excellent place to undertake ecological tour and one can fully merge into its laid out environment.

Day 6 Drive to Daxin and visit Detian Waterfall. The Detian Waterfall is over 200 meters wide and has a drop of more than 70 meters. It is the largest waterfall in Asia, and the second largest transnational waterfall in the world, connecting with a waterfall in Vietnam. Its water rushes down the cliff with tremendous force and its thunder is audible even before it comes into view.

Day 7 To Chongzuo by coach and touring the Stone Forest in the morning, to Ningming in the afternoon, a boat excursion on the Zuojiang River and anchor to visit cliff paintings on Floral Hill. The paintings, mostly brownish red in color, are left by the ancestors of the Zhuang ethnic tribe in ancient times. They are grand in scale, vivid, and vigorous in the execution of the bold lines.

Day 8 Drive to Pingxiang to visit the Friendship Pass. Erected between two hills on the border between China and Viet Nam in southwest Guangxi, the Friendship Pass is 18 kilometers from the city of Pingxiang. It is one of China's nine famous passes and has been the gateway to southern China since ancient times. The imposing pass has three stories and stands 22 meters tall. Fort barbettes are built on the hills at the flanks.

Day 9 Drive to Dongxing for a tour of local market on the Sino-Vietnamese border in the morning and returning to Nanning by coach in the afternoon. Transfer to airport for your flight out.
